Salah Mejri’s favorite movie is American Beauty. He loves the scene where the kids look at the video of the plastic bag in the wind. It’s stunning to him. Gives him chills.
He’s gone through Kevin Spacey’s Acting MasterClass three times. Thought it was illuminating. Gave a speech in front of the team about it, asked them to take it with him. Quincy Acy said no. Barea fell down. Harrison Barnes said that actually sounds really fun. Dirk was in the corner of the locker room looking at old pictures of Beaubois, wondering what went wrong. He stood up, slapped Mejri across the face, sat back down. Barea fell again.
Mejri talked trash to Gregg Popovich after dunking in a game the Mavericks were losing by 21. I’m pro shenanigans but that’s complete mummery. What’s his theme song? There Will Be Tears?
